Panoramic Verticle Tree

This type of assignment was a new type of work because we had to digitally work on it and also manually cut out and put it on a black piece of paper as the background. We have taken tree shots before but this type was new and different because we took seperate shots of the bottom, middle, and top of the tree. The main point is to just emphasize on the height and greatness of the tree by putting it together in 3 seperate sheets.

Piano

This is a detailed shot at the chapel in Mercy High School. Its the "heart" of a piano. Where everything is works and strings are pulled. I like this shot personally because there are alot of lines and because of the texture, the wood is covered by dust everywhere. I tried the shot with and without flash but i decided to add the flash to get a better view of the inside.

Pop Art at the Zoo

Thes are edited images of the same shot. Its a view of the animals with the style of photography and art named Pop Art. The first looks more original but I still messed with it in photoshop. The second is sort of a andy worehal impersination.

Peecon

Throughout the whole zoo there were pecons everywhere roaming around on the grass, on branches, on walkways, and even in other animals habitats. I loved the way the bird was set up to take a backrond and show a nice backround and emphasis on the pecon with the branch leading up to it.

Tiger

I was waiting for this shot the whole time with the tiger. It finally looked right at me and i got the shot I was hoping to get. I got the backround which to me was important to give it a more natural feeling.

Flamingos, i like the color and texture exposed. this shot was the easiest at the zoo because the flamingos never moved and stayed in one spot mostly. so at the same time the pictures all came out good.

This interior shot was taken at a chapel during my photography class. My main goal was to catch the light in the back while catching the lines from the wooden seats. It like the lighting because it gives you sort of a different feeling.

This is my Panoramic style shot. This is the outside of my house where my gate runs along the corner. I like how I cought the persons house at the left end to sort of give the image a longer and more realistic shot.

Photo Journal Essay picture, #6 Redo.
This is just another look at the number 6 photo, I like how the backround came out even if the main focus are the shoes. This photo has a more glommy look and i liked how the shoes looked in this photo.

photo journal essay picture #6
This photo personally is my favorite. I wanted to emphasize the shoes with not as much backround. right when i took the picture a bunch of clouds in the back covered the blue sky so it came out better for me to focus more on the shoes. There are lines in the photo from the chain net of the rim that i tried to put in to add elements.

Photo Journal essay picture #5
Roosevelt Elementary School
I wanted to emphasize the ball in this picture, i messed around a little with the hue and saturation to brighten up the picture and give the color a more solid look. I like how the eyes are drawn to the ball.

photo journal essay #4
Music
I used value to put in more emphasis on this picture. also to add the gloomy effect since this artist has passed away. I messed with the values and put it in grey scale. I like how it came out because i feel like it came out like a real Black and White poster would.

Photo Journal Essay #3
My Family is my support and back bone. Right now these are the people closest to me.

Our Lady of Angels
This was the first church I attended as a kid, and is the one I go to now. My faith is the biggest part of my life, and Hope it still will be in the future. I feel like teenagers are losing their faith and respect to their religion. I took this photo to show that I am one of the only teenagers who is willing to wake up at 9am on a sunday and go to mass alone.

The next six pictures posted up with the description of P.J.E were assigned in my photography class. These pictures are suppose to tell a story. My six pictures tell the story of my life, and each picture has a story behind it.

On the way home picture

Taking pictures in the car while its driving isn't really so safe but i feel like I got the job done. The objective was to take pictures of moving objects while I was on the way home. It was raining so nothing else would be out but cars driving by. Hopefully after the rain I can re do this.
This picture was taken around 6 in the morning. All the white spots are little rain drops falling from the skys. You cant see all of the rain but there was alot more then what it looks. This image was tough to catch rain drops and not get my camera wet. But at the end it was worth it

Shooting, running, stealing. This isn's a crime this is basketball. One of my favorite sports I decided to go out to one of our High School basketball games and take some neat pictures. Since I have a point and shoot camera I had some struggles taking a good picture. In this image the left side is a little blurry so noise is what was added to make it a little more artsy and take the attention away from the blur, and make the blur look more natural.
